The work
Structural engineering, BIM, steel detailing and connection design. The technical work is ordinary and demanding in equal measure: real models, real codes, real consequences when a dimension is wrong.
What is unusual is the shape. Nobody here works on one job in one facility to one shop standard. The work spans several codes and several time zones, and the skill that matters most is keeping a package coherent while it crosses organisational boundaries.
What the standard is
It is set out in public, at how we work, which is a better description of this job than any list of values would be. Raise the question instead of taking the assumption. Print the assumption when it cannot be avoided. Never overwrite a superseded revision.
Those rules are easy to agree with and tiring to keep on a Friday afternoon, which is the whole of the difference between a detailing output that costs a fabricator money and one that does not.

There is no application route on this site
No roles are posted, and this site publishes no recruitment address, so there is nowhere on it to send a CV. Rather than put up a form that arrives nowhere, this page says so.
The quote intake is for projects and is not a back door for applications — sending one there means it reaches the wrong people and gets no useful answer.
