The objection
“Who seals the drawings on my job, and will my jurisdiction accept that seal?”
Those two questions have one correct answer between them, and it is not a sales answer.
A seal is jurisdictional, and this site publishes no licensure map
A professional or structural engineer's seal is valid where that individual is licensed, granted by a jurisdiction, to a person. It is not a property of a company and it does not travel. Seimora publishes no licensure coverage on this site and claims none — not for any state, province, emirate or country.
What a jurisdiction grants to a person, and the separate registration some jurisdictions require of a firm, are set out once on standards rather than restated here in different words.
Code compliance review is a different act from sealing, which a jurisdiction licenses to an individual, and it is worth separating them in a scope: checking a design against AISC 360, Eurocode 3, IS 800 or AS 4100 is engineering work that can be done wherever the code is understood. Taking legal responsibility for it is what the jurisdiction licenses. Conflating the two is how this conversation usually goes wrong.
What actually eats your hours
Connection design and model production — the work that is priced as design and delivered as drafting. It is also the work that is hardest to staff against a variable pipeline, which is why it is the work most often sent out, and why it is worth sending out to somewhere that runs it against a written design basis rather than against assumption.
Where reactions have not been issued, we say on the calculation which assumption was used, in a place a reviewer cannot miss. That single habit is the difference between a connection package you can check and one you have to re-derive.
We work inside your scheme
Where you are the engineer of record, the design basis is yours and the scheme is yours; what we produce sits inside it. We are not looking to displace an EOR relationship, and a page that pretended otherwise would be selling to the wrong person — this segment refers work as often as it buys it.
The model comes back to you
Native file and IFC, both. A firm that can only return its output through its own viewer has made your deliverable depend on its continued existence.
